CET staff engage in a range of teaching activities.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Education Postgraduate diploma and/ or Masters in Education (ICT)

In 2007 the School of Education in conjunction with the Centre for Educational Technology (CET) will offer a programme designed to enhance professional and theoretical capacity to critically engage with issues and debates of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Education.

Limited NRF bursaries are available for candidates interested in research questions on the interface of access to and use of ICTs (especially gender or information literacy). In addition, CSIR bursaries / studentships are available.

Guest teaching

CET staff participates as guest lecturers on UCT courses.

Teaching with Technology seminars and workshops

CET works with UCT educators to develop capacity to teach effectively with technology. CET presents workshops, seminars and 'show and tell' sessions to raise educators' awareness of ways in which educational technology can be used for teaching and learning..
