Self-Training Courses 

You are welcome to use the LearnOnline self-training courses that are available to all students and staff at UCT. They focus on personal computer skills, and cover the MS Windows operating system, the MS Office application suite, Internet Explorer and Groupwise. The courses offer interactive step-by-step explanations and training for a comprehensive range of topics, from simple to advanced functions. They are really easy to use, so don’t delay using them – learn something new today!

Why should you use the online courses?
Faculties offer limited live training to students. All students are expected to take responsibility for improving their computer skills by using these self-training courses in their own time. This is necessary to cope with course requirements. Staff and postgraduate students can in addition attend live courses offered by ICTS: www.icts.uct.ac.za

How do I access the LearnOnline self-training courses?
Login to Vula (http://vula.uct.ac.za), go to My Workspace, open LearnOnline from the menu on the left side, then click on the course of your choice to access it. Enquiries - learnonline@uct.ac.za
