I can't log in to Vula / LearnOnline.
If you're a student...
- Your password has probably expired. You can use the Password Self-Service tool to reset your password or, if you haven't yet set up an account, visit your faculty computer lab to ask for a new password.

If you're a staff member...
- Please check that you have entered your staff numbers correctly, including leading zeros.
If you still can't login please send your name and staff number to the appropriate help email (on the right) to request that an account is created for you.
I can't find my course site on Vula.
Not all courses at UCT have a a website. Please check with your lecturer whether or not your course has a site and which system it uses. If there is a cite but you can't access it then check your registration status. Note: In Vula, you may need to use the "My Active Sites" drop down box at the right of the tabs to see more sites.
I can't add a staff member to my site on Vula.
Email help@vula.uct.ac.za to request that an account is created for the person. (Please provide the staff number, name and email address.) Do not use email addresses to add UCT staff as guests because this may cause login complications.
I don't have an account for TurnItIn
Email turnitin@uct.ac.za to request that an account is created for you.
I don't remember my TurnItIn password
Go to http://www.turnitin.com/ and click on 'password help'. Type in your email address and TurnItIn will send you an email with a link you'll need to follow to rest your password.
