Seta joined the Learning Technologies Team as a Consultant in September 2010. She completed a PGDipLIS in 2002 and BBibl(Hons) in 2007, both at The University of Cape Town, where she also worked as a librarian from 2003 to 2010, the main portion of this time spent as a Training and Information Services Librarian based in the Knowledge Commons, UCT Libraries.
As an LT consultant, Seta is interested in information retrieval, virtual libraries, knowledge management and web design. She is also focused on exploring ways in which academic librarianship and educational technologies can be combined to enhance and enrich the student learning experience.
Born and bred Capetonian, Seta is an enthusiastic traveller. She also loves music (many different genres), the arts (theatre, ballet, opera) and reading.
