Eve, who has a background in academic publishing, is working on an number of projects related to open access and scholarly communications at UCT, in South Africa and other African countries, funded by the Shuttleworth Foundation, the IDRC and the Open Society Institute. She enjoys being an activist for more effective dissemination of African research and, when she is not travelling, relishes the good cooking, good wine and beauty of the Western Cape. She is the Project Director of the OpeningScholarship Project.
