Desireé started work at UCT at the tender age of 19 as a junior secretary in the Centre for Extra-Mural Studies. Her hard work and vivacious personality were recognised during the next few years as she advanced across faculties in various IT related positions.

Presently, Des is responsible for the co-ordination of Computer Literacy at UCT and also works in the Vula Team. Besides taking on challenges, Des is passionate about web design as well as local comedy. Find out more on her website: www.limeliteweb.co.za
